Chief Executive Officer
Iain Wood offers over 25-years of ship repair leadership and management experience to the maritime industry. He has served as PSI’s Chief Executive / Operations Officer since 2001 and is directly responsible for the overall performance of the company.
Iain is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, New York with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering. He is well respected throughout the maritime ship repair community and serves as the President of the Ship Repair Association of Hawaii (SRAH).
Iain has been an active member of the Navy’s Senior Industry Leadership Teams shaping positive change and improved maintenance execution processes. He has provided executive leadership for the industry since 2009 as SRAH President and is an active member of the Military Affairs Council in Hawaii ensuring the Hawaii Maritime Community fully supports the Navy’s interests throughout the Pacific Rim.
Vice President of Operations Support
Gary Johnson brings 18 years of engineering and operations experience to his current position as VP of Operations for PSI. Responsible for ensuring PSI’s business, infrastructure, and human resources, Gary ensures processes are synchronized and resourced to support the requirements of each repair program. Gary’s leadership skills have been honed over the last decade of relevant marine industry and naval architecture experience in senior management roles.
As a Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Master of Science in Naval Architecture from the University of Southampton, Gary applies his engineering and ship design knowledge to ensure readiness of PSI operations.
Vice President of Programs
PSI’s Program Management Organization (PMO) is led by Troy Keipper, PSI’s Vice President of Programs. Troy is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and brings more than 20 years of relevant experience to his current role at PSI. As a graduate of the University of Michigan, Troy has applied his degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering to various positions throughout his career including Project Engineer, Naval Architect, Program Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and most recently VP of Programs at PSI. Troy demonstrates a passion for developing leaders that promotes employee engagement and increased performance
