Iain Wood

Chief Executive Officer

Iain Wood offers over 25-years of ship repair leadership and management experience to the maritime industry. He has served as PSI’s Chief Executive / Operations Officer since 2001 and is directly responsible for the overall performance of the company.

Iain is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, New York with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering. He is well respected throughout the maritime ship repair community and serves as the President of the Ship Repair Association of Hawaii (SRAH).

Iain has been an active member of the Navy’s Senior Industry Leadership Teams shaping positive change and improved maintenance execution processes. He has provided executive leadership for the industry since 2009 as SRAH President and is an active member of the Military Affairs Council in Hawaii ensuring the Hawaii Maritime Community fully supports the Navy’s interests throughout the Pacific Rim.

Gary Johnson

Chief Operating Officer

Gary Johnson brings a wealth of engineering and operations experience to his current role of Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for ensuring PSI’s business, infrastructure, and human resources, Gary ensures processes are synchronized and resourced to support the requirements of each repair program. Gary’s leadership skills have been honed over the last decade of relevant marine industry and naval architecture experience in senior management roles.

As a Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Master of Science in Naval Architecture from the University of Southampton, Gary applies his engineering and ship design knowledge to ensure readiness of PSI operations.

Troy Keipper

Vice President of Programs

PSI’s Program Management Organization (PMO) is managed by Troy Keipper, Vice President of Programs. As a licensed Professional Engineer and graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Troy brings more than 20 years of engineering and program management experience to Pacific Shipyards International.

Jeff Giese

Vice President of Production

Jeff Giese has over 30 years of ship repair and ship building leadership and management experience in the maritime industry. He is currently serving as Pacific Shipyards International’s Vice President of Production responsible for all trades and production work performed.

Jeff is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, New York where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and earned his Master of Business Administration from Washington State University, Pullman, Washington. Jeff has served as an active Board Member of the Propeller Club for many years and is active in other maritime related associations.

Jeff’s career has taken him from the project management side of the business to production and operations, including facilities and drydock management and all relevant shipyard trades.
